IT800 is Yitran‘s earliest line of PLC Modem ICs and it was discontinued in favor of IT900A.

What is the difference between IT800 and IT900A?

The main difference is that IT900A integrates into the chip most of the Analog components surrounding the IT800 (line driver, filters). The fact that IT900A requires a minimal number of components surrounding the IC leads to a very inexpensive solution.
