What is the Y-Net Stack?

The Y-Net protocol stack provides a set of advanced communication services enabling a standard, rapid and simple method of development for low cost command and control networking applications over the power line media using IT900. The services provided by the Y-Net protocol stack enable developers to focus their efforts on the implementation of their applications, rather than on the communication and networking function.

Is the Y-Net Stack part of IT900?

Yes. IT900 is accompanied by Yitran’s Y-Net network protocol firmware. A UART interface and simple command language provide seamless connection to an external Host controller and simplify application development.      

How do I evaluate Y-Net?

The Y-Net Evaluation Package is designed to enable evaluation, testing and application development with Yitran’s IT900 networking technology to provide solutions for command and control applications.

What does the Y-Net Evaluation Package include?

The evaluation package consists of Yitran’s STK development board on which the IC comes pre-flashed with the DLL and Yitran’s Y-Net Network Protocol software.

The package contains:

  • 1 Concentrator
  • 5 Remote Stations
  • 6 Power Supplies and Cables
