IT800 is Yitran‘s earliest line of PLC Modem ICs and it was discontinued in favor of IT900 and IT900A.

What is the difference between IT700 and IT900?

The main difference is that IT900 integrates into the chip most of the Analog components surrounding the IT800 (line driver, filters). The fact that IT700 requires a minimal number of components surrounding the IC leads to a very inexpensive solution.
