The IT800 is a highly integrated SoC (System on a Chip) Powerline Communication modem. The chip incorporates Yitran’s high performance DLL (Data Link Layer) and extremely reliable PHY (Physical) layer. The IT800 is an ideal solution for a variety of command and control applications and offers the required flexibility for the implementation of communication protocols as well as proprietary products.

PHY Layer
  • PLC optimized PHY (Physical Layer )
  • DCSK (Differential Code Shift Keying) patented modulation technique provides extremely high communication reliability (US patent No. 6,064,695)
  • High immunity to signal fading, various noise characteristics, impedance modulation and phase/frequency distortion
  • High in-phase and cross-phase reliability
  • Forward short-block soft decoding error correction mechanism and CRC-16
  • Complies with worldwide regulation requirements (FCC, ARIB, EN50065-1-CENELEC.

  • Up to 1023 logical networks and 2047 nodes/network
  • ACK (Acknowledged) and UnAck (Unacknowledged) data transmission services
  • Re-transmission mechanism
  • Support for all PHY transport modes with additional automatic rate control mode
  • CSMA/CA (Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Avoidance) channel access scheme
